Teen Entrepreneur Connections
What do Andrew Carnegie, Oprah Winfrey, Thomas Edison, Sean John and Steve Jobs have in common? They are all successful entrepreneurs! Teen Entrepreneurship Connections (TEC) introduces students to the exciting world of the entrepreneur. Students learn what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur by creating and running their own small business.
Students will:
- Develop social and emotional intelligence skills
- Improve financial literacy
- Connect math skills to real world applications
- Go on field trips that introduce them to successful entrepreneurs
- Learn the “art of the pitch”
- Experience professional Success Coaches who guide them through the creation of their own small business
Our Teen Entrepreneur Connections Curriculum (TEC) is a 5-step approach that aligns with 21st Century Core Standards and inspires the entrepreneur in us all. See a curriculum sample.
