development. We
are a service organization that works to equip people with
the skills necessary for success and fulfillment in
business, school and in life.
Our team has built successful businesses and
developed programs with schools that have transformed
students and communities into successful learning
environments.
Creative Connections began in response to the growing need for career
readiness, entrepreneurship and business development
programs in schools and businesses throughout New York City.
In addition to youth development services that help
focus students career and academic potential, our
organization is committed to helping businesses improve
important skills necessary for success in the 21st
Century. These
two areas of focus, schools and business, converge in our
connections programs, linking businesses with schools to
promote success in students and business professionals.
Creative Connections offers quality career and business development
services in three chief areas:

School-Based Programs
in career readiness, high school selection,
entrepreneurship, and staff development.

Business-Based
Programs provide companies and business leaders
nationwide with skills, techniques and coaching on how to
grow and improve their business.

Connection Programs that connect these two
communities, improving students’ connections to the world of
school through the world of work, and providing businesses
with the opportunity to publicly aid communities of need.
The co-founders of Creative Connections represent over 40
years of experience in the fields of youth and business
development.
Elizabeth Barrow,
President
After completing her Masters Degree in Education from the
University of Georgia, Ms. Barrow followed her dream to
become a professional ballet dancer in New York City.
She danced professionally and taught ballet in New
York for over ten years.
After her dance career, she taught full time and was
the Director of Faculty at the prestigious Ballet Tech, The
New York City Public School for Dance, where she oversaw the
auditions of over 35,000 school students each year.
Ms Barrow taught and ran the ballet department of
Ballet Tech for over thirteen years.
Earl Hagan, CEO
Earl Hagan had a fifteen year career in New York as an actor
and director. In
1994 Mr. Hagan applied his acting and directing skills to
the running of a small business.
Before starting
Creative Connections, Mr. Hagan took a fledgling mom and pop
business and transformed it into a multi-million dollar
organization. As
Chief Operating Officer for a New York company, Earl’s
success was founded upon his strategic vision, effective
communication and creative leadership style. His emphasis on
collaboration within an organization that has a clear
vision, mission, values and goals created a cohesive staff,
record profits, and one of the lowest turnover rates in the
industry. Mr.
Hagan has done workshops throughout the country on
leadership, management, communication and business
development.
Creative Connections is a fusion of Ms. Barrow and Mr.
Hagan’s talent, interest and passion.
They have brought together a talented team with the
founding idea and agitating principle of providing quality
services in the areas of youth and business development.
